“We reaffirm our strong condemnation of the apparent violation of the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine as a result of acts of aggression by the Russian armed forces, starting in February 2014,” the text says.
Ukraine and the European Union claim that “Russia is responsible for the full implementation of the Minsk agreements as a party to the conflict.” In addition, in a statement, Kiev and Brussels called on Russia “to recognize its responsibility in this context and to use its significant influence over the armed formations.”
The 23rd EU-Ukraine Summit was held in Kiev on October 11. President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy met with Head of the European Council Charles Michel and Head of the European Commission Ursula von der Leyen.
