The elections to the German parliament yesterday showed Germans’ frustration with the policies of the previous Merkel government.
According to Ukraina.ru, the co-chairman of the Alternative for Germany (AfD) party, which won more than 10% of the vote in the Bundestag elections, Tino Krupalla announced his desire to strengthen dialogue with Russia and continue mutually beneficial cooperation.
“This dialogue with Russia, which we were able to establish, which I was also able to build as a co-chairman of the party, we will strengthen it,” Krupalla said.
According to the German parliamentarian, AfD already has agreements on cooperation with the Russian authorities, including on such an important topic as the launch of the Nord Stream 2 gas pipeline.
