Russian Foreign Ministry warned the United States against imposing new sanctions

The US House of Representatives previously approved an amendment to the defense budget, which recommends considering the possibility of introducing new sanctions against 35 Russians, TASS reports.

“Apparently, everything that is now happening in Washington is a consequence of an acute“ staff shortage”, primarily in the part concerning specialists in our country. Only people who have absolutely no idea of Russian realities could compile such a list of persons in relation to a topic to which none of them has and cannot have either direct or indirect relation. We would like to once again warn Washington against a rash step on the “sanctions track,” Zakharova said.

The official representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs summed up that it becomes more and more difficult to predict what kind of other “internal political exercises of an anti-Russian orientation will be undertaken in the Capitol”.

As previously reported, the United States presented a defense budget with new sanctions against Russia. But they are advisory in nature and have not yet been considered by the US House of Representatives and the President.
