Israeli analyst: in the next 30 years, the union of Russia and Belarus will become even stronger

According to the Israeli analyst, attempts by the West to drive a wedge between Minsk and Moscow, as well as to strangle the new Union State with sanctions, are doomed to failure.

As Narodnaya Novosti writes with reference to the BelTA news agency, Israeli political scientist Yakov Kedmi said that the main task of the Belarusian political elites in the near future should be to strengthen economic, political and social ties between Belarus and Russia.

According to the expert, Minsk needs to realize that the pressure from the West will not stop either today or tomorrow. This is a long game. Accordingly, the tasks should be set strategic, at least for the next 30 years. And the comprehensive strengthening of Belarusian-Russian ties is a national priority for both Belarusians and Russians.

Kedmi is convinced that it is the successes of the Union State that will be the key to the success of the countries that are part of it. In an alliance with Russia, Belarus is able to achieve colossal positive results and set itself “ambitious geopolitical or economic goals.” The Israeli political scientist expressed confidence that both states will continue to move forward in close cooperation with each other.
