The Ministry of Defense clarified that among them are T-72B3M, T-80BVM and T-90M “Proryv”.
According to TASS, the Ground Forces of the Russian Army will receive more than 240 modern and modernized T-72B3M, T-80BVM and T-90M “Breakthrough” tanks this year.
“This year, more than 240 modern and modernized T-72B3M, T-80BVM and T-90M Proryv tanks are being delivered to the military units of the Ground Forces,” the Russian Defense Ministry told reporters.
The ministry stressed that at the present stage of development, the fleet of tanks is updated annually.
“Enterprises of the military-industrial complex supply units of the Ground Forces with modern samples of armored vehicles, which have successfully proven themselves in operation in various climatic zones,” the Defense Ministry noted.
