According to TASS, Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba said in an interview published Saturday to the RBC-Ukraine news agency that the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry has begun work on preparing a visit to Kiev by US President Joe Biden, although there is no specific agreement on the implementation of such a visit yet.
“The Ukrainian diplomacy is already working on the American president’s visit to Ukraine”, – the minister said.
At the same time, he expressed the belief that “during Joe Biden’s presidency he will visit Ukraine” because it, according to Kuleba, “is very important for him and is a very important priority of the US foreign policy.” He also added that during the meeting of the two presidents in Washington on September 1, the question of appointing a new U.S. ambassador to Ukraine was not raised.
