Poland has set up refugee camps on the border with Belarus

Polish authorities have opened two facilities and are looking for locations to form new camps

Two guarded camps to receive refugees have been opened in eastern Poland in Biała Podlaska and Czerwoni Bór. This was announced by the head of the Polish Border Guard Service, DW.

The institutions are open because of the large number of illegal migrants from Belarus. They are also looking for other places for the establishment of several more camps.

Prior to that, the head of the Polish Ministry of Defense, Mariusz Blaszczak, announced about strengthening border protection with the army. According to him, more than 900 military personnel will be sent to the border with Belarus.
