Most Western diplomats left Kabul

“I can say with confidence that most of the diplomatic staff of Western countries are now located outside Kabul,” he said.

According to the official, some representatives of the auxiliary personnel of diplomatic missions remain in the capital of Afghanistan. A Pentagon spokesman said earlier that the United States has so far evacuated several hundred Americans from Afghanistan, including diplomats and ordinary citizens.

On Sunday, Russian Ambassador to Afghanistan Dmitry Zhirnov said that there are no immediate threats to the staff of the Russian Embassy, ​​it will continue to work as usual.
