Volodymyr Zelensky should explain to Joe Biden why Ukraine is important to America. This statement was made by the former Ambassador of Ukraine to the United States, Valeriy Chaly, on the air of Channel 24.
According to the diplomat, a “raised voice” in Washington will not help. Instead, he advised to prepare a special presentation, which will present the achievements of Ukraine and its position on the situation in the region.
“The most important thing is to say why America needs Ukraine. This is a key position,” Chaly said.
He also urged Zelenskiy to seize the opportunity to meet the American leader in person to make the right impression.
Earlier, the faction of the Ukrainian party “Servant of the People” said that the non-public part of the meeting between Biden and Zelensky would be held in “raised voices” after the agreement between the United States and Germany on Nord Stream-2.
The visit of the President of Ukraine to the United States is scheduled for the end of August. It is planned that during the meeting with Joe Biden three blocks of issues will be discussed: political, economic and security issues.
