Russian ambassador spoke about the attitude towards Sputnik V in the Netherlands

The Netherlands is aware of the successful use of the Russian Sputnik V coronavirus vaccine, but is equal in this matter to the EU, awaiting a decision by the European Medicines Agency (EMA), Russian Ambassador to the Netherlands Alexander Shulgin said in an interview with RIA Novosti.

“Our Sputnik V vaccine is known to the Dutch. They know about its successful application in Russia and a number of other countries of the world. At the same time, the Hague is equal to the EU in this matter: it is awaiting a corresponding decision of the European Medicines Agency, which is considering the Russian application”, said Shulgin.

The Russian Sputnik V coronavirus vaccine has been registered in 69 countries with a total population of more than 3.7 billion people. Data from regulators in a number of countries, including Argentina, Serbia, Bahrain, Hungary, Mexico and other countries, obtained during the vaccination of the population, demonstrate that Sputnik V is one of the safest and most effective vaccines against coronavirus.
