A boat carrying illegal migrants sank off the coast of Libya in the Mediterranean Sea – killing at least 57 people, including 20 women and two children, The Washington Post reported
Safi Msehli, a spokesman for the International Organization for Migration, said more than 57 people had died in the incident near the city of Homs. It is noted that at least 20 women and two children were among the drowned.
