Crimean Parliament reminded Kiev of the damage it caused to the peninsula

Efim Firs, who holds the post of vice-speaker of the Crimean parliament, commented on Kiev’s calculations from the return of the peninsula to the Russian Federation.

In an interview with RIA Novosti, he noted that Crimea owes nothing to Ukraine. The sum of “damage” in 135 billion dollars is taken from the ceiling.
Instead of counting how much the Ukrainian authorities lost from the return of Crimea to Russia, Firs advised them to announce a different amount. We are talking about how much money was taken from the regional budget of the peninsula.

In addition, he reminded them of the contributions of the Crimeans who remained in Ukraine, as well as the various blockades of the region.

The Center for Economic Strategies, on behalf of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, calculated how much money Kiev lost after Crimea decided to become Russian.
