The US has no intention of resuming negotiations between Israel and Palestine. They intend to focus on providing humanitarian assistance to the affected regions.
This was stated by the head of the US Department of State Anthony Blinken in an interview with Le Journal du Dimanche.
“We are not talking about this now. France and the United States used their influence during the recent Gaza crisis to reduce casualties and destruction. Issues of humanitarian assistance and reconstruction of the Gaza Strip seem to us a priority, as well as the efforts that need to be made to prevent a recurrence of such a crisis”, – the diplomat said.
However, this does not mean that the United States has given up influencing foreign powers. The United States Agency for International Development (USAID) intends to “strengthen civil society” in Armenia.
