Russian Foreign Ministry evaluates EU strategy towards Russia

The official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova, commented on the new strategy of the European Union in relation to Russia, which was prepared on the eve of the unification summit, which will be held on June 24-25.

Zakharova recalled that the head of EU diplomacy Josep Borrell, announcing the strategy of Brussels, said that it would be based on three principles: “repel, restrain, interact”.

“Can you imagine a person who offers you a relationship based on the principles of “repel, restrain and interact”? Can’t you imagine? And this is Borrell. The people who came up with such a concept clearly have problems with knowledge of history, perception of reality and the prevalence of phobias over creative perception of the world”, – the representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry wrote in her Telegram channel.
