Russian President Vladimir Putin said at a summit with his American counterpart Joe Biden in Geneva that many questions had accumulated in relations between Moscow and Washington.
“I hope our meeting will be productive”, – the Russian leader said as he began negotiations.
Putin and Biden communicate in the library of Villa La Grange.
The talks are also attended by Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov and United States Secretary of State Anthony Blinken. The second part of the summit assumes a more expanded composition.

The agenda includes strategic stability, a pandemic, the fight against cybercrime, economic cooperation, climate, the Arctic and regional conflicts.
A joint press conference is not expected, each president will speak to journalists separately after the talks.
