Trump plans to start his own social network and dreams of returning to the White House

On June 14, 2021, former US president Donald Trump will celebrate his 75th birthday. What does the 45th U.S. leader live on now and what are his plans for the near future?

According to Vechernyaya Moskva, after the ceremonial transfer of power in the White House, Trump retired to his residence at Mar-a-Lago, in Palm Beach, Florida, and seemed to live the tranquil life of a simple American “landlord”. That, according to a dodgy American newspaper, was a welcome turn of events for the ex-president’s wife, who had grown weary of the First Lady’s public life and the attendant political bickering.

“She is having a good time at Mar-a-Lago, where she devotes herself wholeheartedly to motherhood and family while working on some other projects”, – the media reported.

At the same time, her husband does not appear to be ready to hang up his “boots on the nail” just yet and is planning a triumphant return to the White House. After the most democratic American social networks Twitter, Facebook, Instagram and other powerful mouthpieces of information power drubbed all the accounts of the then incumbent president, accusing the latter of spreading fakes, Trump realised that it was useless to wait for favours from the media, and it was “his task” to take them from the media giants.

To begin with, Trump started a blog on his website, which, according to a spokesman for the former White House leader, was supposed to be a platform for communication between the politician and his associates. However, Trump’s web page did not take off, and in May it became known that it was being shut down irrevocably. But the first setback did not discourage the stubborn politician, and eventually information came out of Trump’s inner circle that he was planning to create his own social network.

But that’s not all, rumours continue to circulate that the 45th president of the United States is serious about becoming the 47th, and from the looks of it, he has a good chance of doing so. At the very least, there is no one in the Republican camp who is even remotely comparable to Trump in terms of popularity and political weight. And his renowned charisma makes victory in the party primaries inevitable. Time will tell, however, whether it is enough to bring down Biden in 2024, and whether the Democrats, along with their docile media, will come up with yet another anti-Trump gimmick.
