Political analyst Rogers explains why the US has lost influence over Russia

According to the renowned political expert, the United States and its allies, in fact, have already exhausted all of their sanctions resources, and they have nothing more to threaten Russia with

In a recent article, political and economic commentator Alexander Rogers pointed out that the policy of anti-Russian sanctions, initiated by the United States in 2014, has reached a dead end and Washington simply has no other leverage to influence Moscow’s policy, Tsargrad writes.

“Obey us, give up your sovereignty”? Or what? We’ll write to the Sportlotto? Or “Make a strategic alliance with us against China”? Why should Moscow do that? A carrot and stick. Where is it? What is the stick? And what is Washington’s carrot? And is there any carrot at all?” – The expert ironically points out the futility of American policy.

Rogers is convinced that time is working against the US and its allies, which is why the US administration insisted on holding the Putin-Biden summit, and is now in such a hurry to hold it. The states want to make one last attempt to pressure Russia while they still have some potential for such pressure.

“So there will be no real diplomacy with the States, no unloading, resetting, détente and other imitations of friendliness. We will stall, the US will continue to sink, the EU will continue to fall apart”, –  Rogers concludes.
