Kremlin announces preparation of meeting between Putin and Lukashenko at the end of May

A new meeting between Russian President Vladimir Putin and his Belarusian counterpart Alexander Lukashenko at the end of May is under preparation, the press secretary of the Russian leader Dmitry Peskov confirmed.

“Indeed, we do not rule out that such a meeting will take place at the end of May. At least, it is being prepared, the government is working on the implementation of earlier instructions given by the heads of state based on the results of previous communication”, – he said in response to a relevant question.

Peskov added that the further development of integration processes will be considered within the framework of the complex of bilateral relations.

The last meeting between Putin and Lukashenko took place in Moscow on April 22.
