The British Embassy in Moscow reacted to the emergency at the Kazan school, calling the news coming from there terrible.

Latvian Foreign Minister Edgar Rinkevich expressed his condolences to the families of those killed at a school in Kazan.

“Very sad news from Kazan. I express my sincere and deep condolences to the parents and families of those killed in this terrible crime. I wish a speedy recovery to all the victims”, – ​​Rinkevich wrote on his Facebook profile in Russian.

Estonian Foreign Minister Eva-Maria Liimets expressed condolences to the families of those killed during the attack on a school in Kazan.

“The terrible news about the shooting at a school in Kazan. Estonia expresses its sincere condolences to the families affected and to all those who suffered from this terrible act of violence”, – the foreign minister wrote on Twitter.

On Tuesday, citing emergency services, it was reported that children were being evacuated from a school in Kazan, where unidentified gunmen opened fire and an explosion occurred. The teenager, who allegedly opened the fire, was detained. The National Anti-Terrorism Committee reported that the shooting killed seven children and injured 16 students and staff at the gymnasium. The head of the republic, Rustam Minnikhanov, said that a 19-year-old boy had arranged the shooting, and the weapon was officially registered for him.
