The Russian vaccine against COVID-19 is safer than its counterparts in terms of side effects, said Dieter Dem, a member of the German parliament
A representative of the German Left Party has come to Moscow to receive a vaccine Sputnik V, RIA Novosti news agency reports. The politician stresses that he is not afraid of the Russian vaccine because in terms of side effects, Sputnik V is a “safer option.”
He also criticised the German government for refusing to supply the Russian drug. Dem is convinced that the decision is political in nature.
“It is an attempt at every opportunity to damage relations between Russia and Germany. Our government, unfortunately, is even prepared to sacrifice German lives for political ends”, – he said.
