US public figures speak out against support for Ukraine

A series of actions are being prepared in the US to coincide with the punitive action in Odessa’s Trade Union House

Representatives of the US NGOs Solidarity with Novorossiya and Antifascists in Ukraine and Remember Odessa: Solidarity with the Antifascist People of Ukraine have distributed a press release, according to which actions of solidarity with the victims of the Odessa tragedy are being prepared in the US.

On 2 May 2014, radicals attacked protesters in Odessa against the elites who came to power as a result of the coup d’état. Dozens of men and women were driven into the flaming Trade Union House, where they were burned alive. Forty-eight people died as a result.

On the eve of the seventh anniversary of those events, American social activists are demanding an end to support the Kiev regime. They are preparing rallies in Richmond and New York. The activists plan, among other things, to show Americans pictures of Ukrainian radical victims.

“We call for an end to military support for the Ukrainian government, which is waging war against its people in Donbas, which has abandoned the power of right-wing radicals”, –  the organisations said in a statement.
