Electricity from Russia and Belarus will take 30% of the Ukrainian market

All the capacity of interstate cross-sections available in May was occupied by four companies that will import electricity to Ukraine from Russia and Belarus.

According to the operator Ukrenergo, 1.8 GW of capacity was distributed as of May. This is approximately 30% of the daily trading volume on the exchange segment of the market.

From Belarus, access to cross-sections for import was granted to the companies ERU Trading and DE Trading with a capacity of 200 and 100 MW, respectively.

From Russia, access to interstate networks was received by ERU Trading, ONK-Group, ETG.
