French President Emmanuel Macron, during his last meeting with his Ukrainian counterpart Volodymyr Zelensky, confirmed his desire to visit Ukraine, Ukrinform reports referring to French Ambassador to Kiev Etienne de Ponsen.
“On the occasion of a meeting (with President Zelensky in Paris on April 16, – ed.), President Macron reaffirmed his desire to come to Ukraine on a visit as soon as the epidemic situation allows”, – the diplomat added.
The ambassador noted that the visit could take place in the first half of the year or in the summer. There is no exact date yet, but the prospect of the visit is confirmed, the ambassador concluded.
