Former head of Estonia Toomas Hendrik Ilves demanded to temporarily ban Russians from entering EU countries.
“Probably, a temporary ban on all visits from Russia is needed, I’m talking about any visits […] You just need to freeze all visas, except for emergency cases in the family. Europe’s security is at stake. Enough”, – Ilves wrote on Twitter.
This is far from the first anti-Russian statement made by Estonian politicians. Earlier, Estonian Defense Minister Kalle Laanet called Russia “the greatest threat” to the republic’s security.
