Ukrainian Fyodor Gladyr was sentenced in the United States to 10 years in prison for a series of cyberattacks, which, according to local justice, resulted in losses of more than one billion dollars, according to a statement on the website of the American Department of Justice.
During the investigation, it turned out that Gladyr was in charge of the FIN7 hacker group, numbering more than 70 people.
They hacked into the computer networks of enterprises in the country, thanks to which, during their activity, they managed to get information on more than 20 million people, adds the EADaily portal.
Fyodor Gladyr was detained in 2018 in Dresden, Germany and extradited to the United States. In 2019, the man pleaded guilty to the alleged acts.
