Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin will meet with Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko during his visit to Minsk.
Earlier it was reported that Russian President Vladimir Putin had a telephone conversation with his Belarusian counterpart Alexander Lukashenko. The parties discussed issues of bilateral cooperation and agreed on a meeting to be held, presumably, on April 22.
According to the head of the Russian government, issues of integration of the tax systems of Russia and Belarus will be discussed during today’s meeting with Lukashenko.
“I have known Belarusian colleagues from the Customs Service and the Tax Service for a long time. These are high professionals. But our systems, since they interact in a constant mode (the entire turnover), must be integrated”, – Mishustin said yesterday.
The Prime Minister also noted that Moscow and Minsk will jointly solve the problems arising in bilateral relations in connection with the coronavirus. According to him, due to the coronavirus pandemic, the level of Russian-Belarusian trade has significantly decreased.
