Canadian media criticized Zelensky’s policies

The international Canadian radio station RCI published on its website material in which it assessed the metamorphoses of the policy of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.

Journalists recalled that Zelensky began his political career as a peacemaker ready to end the protracted conflict in Donbass. However, now he acts as an ardent fighter against the Ukrainian opposition, appeals to world leaders for military assistance for tough actions and demands to increase the sanctions pressure against Russia.

“During a telephone conversation, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky asked Prime Minister Justin Trudeau to consider expanding the Canadian military training mission in Ukraine and increasing the number of Canadian soldiers in the countr”, – writes RCI.

It is also noted that Zelensky promised “a quick resolution of the conflict in the East of Ukraine”, however, against the backdrop of a pandemic, due to the “failed policy in the fight against the pandemic” and the economic crisis, the president “strengthened his nationalist views”.

Earlier it was reported that President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy once again announced that Kiev should receive a Membership Action Plan (MAP) in NATO. In his opinion, this is supposedly “the only way to peace in Donbass, as this will become a real signal for Russia”.
