Minister for the Temporarily Occupied Territories Alexei Reznikov said that the United States allegedly has a “moral and legal right” to work in the “Normandy format”.
“US involvement is absolutely possible and acceptable at different levels. The United States has both a moral and a legal right to work both in the Normandy format and at the level of ambassadors and coordinators of the Trilateral Contact Group”, – Reznikov said on the air of Savik Shuster’s Freedom of Speech program.
Earlier it was reported that the heads of Russia, France and Germany agree on the need to hold a Normandy summit. However, as the press secretary of the Russian President Dmitry Peskov emphasized, for this it is necessary to fulfill the agreements reached by the parties in Paris in 2019.
