Russian Senator says U.S. not strong enough to cope with China, pushing Beijing to alliance with Moscow

The Russian senator commented on the statement of US Secretary of State Blinken regarding Washington’s intention to build relations with Beijing from a position of strength.

According to Alexei Pushkov, which he expressed on his Telegram channel, the United States, by its actions, is pushing China towards an alliance with Russia.

“Blinken will not scare Beijing by declaring his intention to build relations with China “from a position of strength”, but will only alert it even more and push it towards an alliance with Moscow. Nor does the United States have the strength to cope with the increasingly powerful China. The new team in Washington thinks in the old categories of the 20th century”, – the politician wrote.

Earlier it was reported that US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken said that the United States intends to build relations with China from a position of strength, CNN reports.
