Vietnam registers Russian “Sputnik V” vaccine

The Russian Direct Investment Fund (RDIF) announced that Vietnam has registered the Sputnik V coronavirus vaccine. Thus, the Russian vaccine has been approved in 56 countries.

“RDIF announces registration of the Russian vaccine against coronavirus Sputnik V by the Ministry of Health of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam. Vietnam became the 56th country in which the use of the Russian vaccine was approved. Registration of Sputnik V was carried out as part of an emergency use authorization (EUA) procedure. Thus, the Sputnik V vaccine has been approved in countries with a total population of over 1.5 billion people”, – the RDIF said.
