Employees of the European Medicines Agency will visit Russia in April to assess the results of tests of the Sputnik V vaccine, as well as its production.
Marco Cavaleri, head of the health threats and vaccination strategy department, noted that three vaccines are currently at the approval stage in the European Union, including the German CureVac and the American NovaVax. With regard to the Russian vaccine, as Cavaleri emphasized, there is a “cyclical check” of the data set.
As previously reported by News Front, today the European Union is experiencing serious problems with vaccinations. This is due to the infamous AstraZeneca vaccine. At first, the manufacturer of the drug admitted that it was not in a position to provide European countries with vaccines in accordance with contractual terms. Later it turned out that the drug causes blood clots, which is why many countries have abandoned its use.
