The President of Slovakia Zuzana Chaputova has accepted the resignation of the Minister of Health of the Republic Marek Krajci, who authorized the emergency use of the Russian vaccine against the Sputnik V coronavirus in the country.
Krajci resigned to resolve differences in the government coalition. They arose after the republic acquired the Sputnik V vaccine. Chaputova thanked the politician for her work at the ministerial post and appointed Minister of Finance Eduard Geger as acting head of the Ministry of Health.
