U.S. is disingenuous, saying it will not engage in regime change

Russian Senator Alexei Pushkov casts doubt on the sincerity of the Washington administration’s intentions, rightly asking “why, in this case, the United States continues to import, according to the ‘Syria Times,’ dozens of ISIS fighters from Iraq to Syria?”

In the opinion of the well-known publicist, the statements made by the new Secretary of State Anthony Blinken are likely to go wrong once again.

“The new US administration will not deal with regime change overseas? And what will it do then? And why, in this case, does the United States continue to import, according to the ‘Syria Times,’ dozens of ISIS fighters from Iraq to Syria? In case of abandoning the policy of “regime change”, the new US administration should stop the military training of jihadists conducted in the area of the American base in at-Tanf in eastern Syria, close the base itself and withdraw all American troops from Syria. Something tells them they won’t. And if they do not, it means that they do not refuse the policy of “regime change”. These promises are empty”, – Pushkov is convinced.
