Ukraine asks EU countries to donate part of their COVID-19 vaccines to it – EC President Ursula von der Leyen

A campaign to vaccinate the population against coronavirus starts in Ukraine. The country received 8 million doses of the vaccine under the European COVAX program, about 5 million doses of the Chinese CoronaVac vaccine and 12 million doses of the American corporations AstraZeneca and Novavax.

But for a country with a population of about 40 million people, this is not enough, so Ukraine again turned to the EU for help. According to President Volodymyr Zelensky, the EU will help supply Ukraine with vaccines Pfizer, Sinovac, AstraZeneca and Novavax
