The press service of the Ministry of Energy of Belarus reports that the first power unit of the BelNPP was brought to 100 percent capacity.
“On January 12 at 19:57 (coincides with Moscow time – approx.) the first power unit of the Belarusian nuclear power plant was brought to the nominal power level. The thermal power of the unit is 3,200 MW, the electric power is 1,170 MW. Static and dynamic tests will continue at this power level at the power unit in accordance with the program of the pilot operation stage”, – the Ministry of Energy of Belarus said.
