France supports the search for a long-term political settlement of the conflict in Nagorno-Karabakh. This was reported on Thursday at the Elysee Palace with reference to a telephone conversation between French President Emmanuel Macron and Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan.
“The head of state held a telephone conversation with the Prime Minister of Armenia”, – the French leader’s administration noted.
“Macron announced his determination to seek a long-term political solution to the Nagorno-Karabakh problem after the November 9 ceasefire agreement”.
According to a representative of the Elysee Palace, during the conversation, the President informed about “France’s readiness to support efforts to free all prisoners, as well as to promote the economic development of Armenia”.
Macron, in a telephone conversation with Pashinyan, announced France’s intention to contribute to the economic development of Armenia.
