A doctor in Portugal has died two days after being vaccinated against the coronavirus with a Pfizer/BioNTech drug, the Daily Mail reports
Sonia Acevedo, 41, was vaccinated on 30 December but died suddenly on 1 January. It is noted that the woman did not experience any side effects after the vaccination.
“She was vaccinated against COVID-19, but she did not experience any symptoms. I don’t know what happened. I just want answers. I want to know what led to my daughter’s death”, – said Abilio Acevedo, the health worker’s father.
The Portuguese Oncology Institute in Porto, where the woman worked, said they had not received any complaints from Acevedo either during or after her vaccination.
For her part, the woman’s daughter said her mother only complained of “normal” discomfort in the area where she was injected, but otherwise everything was fine.
Earlier, News Front reported that a doctor in Greece was put in intensive care after being injected with a US vaccine.
The first side effects of the Pfizer vaccine were also reported in Bulgaria.
