Missile cruisers and nuclear submarines of the United States and Israel entered the Persian Gulf simultaneously. Iran is under serious threat.
According to Dialogue.ua, the United States, together with Israel, are strengthening their military presence in the Persian Gulf. Four warships at once passed through the Strait of Hormuz this week.
“On December 21, two missile cruisers USS Port Royal and USS Philippine Sea entered the Persian Gulf, as well as the USS Georgia submarine of the US Navy. The Israeli Navy’s Dolphin-class nuclear submarine entered the same place almost simultaneously”, – the Reporter writes.
Experts are divided over such military activity. Everyone is sure that the ships are moving towards Iran. Some military analysts believe that the Americans and Israelis intend to demonstrate force to Tehran in order to “psychological pressure”.
However, there is an assumption that a joint strike may be prepared with the aim of destroying the air defense system and nuclear facilities of Iran. If the latter option is implemented, then, experts say, we should expect the involvement of military aviation in strikes on Iran.
