US blames Russia for lack of peace in Donbass

The US Permanent Representative to the OSCE has said that a year after the Normandy summit in Paris, it has still not been possible to implement concrete measures on demining, disengagement of forces and means, opening new checkpoints

The overseas masters of the Kiev authorities continue to “smear” their wards at all levels, not shying away from outright lies and distortions.

According to Censor.net, speaking during this year’s last plenary session of the OSCE Permanent Council in Vienna, US permanent representative to the OSCE James Gilmore said that “Russia’s refusal to fulfill its obligations under the Minsk agreements” was the main reason for the lack of progress in settling the conflict in Donbas in 2020.

“Russia’s refusal to fulfil its ‘Minsk’ obligations and negotiate in good faith is the reason why there has been no more progress in 2020”, –  the US diplomat said.

He also continued the White House’s line on rumours about non-existent Russian forces in the Donbass and stressed that the United States “continues to urge Russia to withdraw its forces and weapons immediately and to engage constructively in discussions on how to end the conflict.”

At the risk of looking quite the clown of diplomacy, the American noted that “Ukraine has consistently demonstrated the political will necessary to stimulate real progress on the ground, as demonstrated most recently by the Rada’s extension of the law on the special status of Donbass for another year.”

As the saying goes, he who heard that is not laughing in the circus.
