The Muslim brothers and others – the way Washington sponsored extremists from the COVID budget

Washington does not even try to hide the fact that it finances radical Islamist formations from the federal budget.

State support in connection with the coronavirus pandemic managed to acquire many scandals. At first, it turned out that the money intended for small businesses was going to large network companies. Then this fund quickly dried up.

A lot of budget funds were lost through the efforts of fraudsters. According to some reports, the fraud with the personal data of citizens cost Washington billions. But not only criminals decided to profit from taxpayers.

According to Newsweek, federal authorities have been active in supporting extremist groups with long-standing links to violence. For example, one thousand dollars from the budget went to the center “Khatme Nubuwwat” in Virginia.

The movement is committed to eradicating the Ahmadiyya Muslim community. For 70 years now, Khatme Nubuwwat has pogroms against this minority, killing hundreds of people.

Another $1,000 was received by the Indian American Muslim Council, an anti-Indian Islamist group. According to some reports, the council is associated with the student Islamic movement, which is banned in India.

Even organizations associated with Hamas received money. The latter was recognized as terrorist by the United States itself. This did not stop the Texas organization Baitulmaal from receiving $10,000 in government support. Baitulmaal is known for funding Hamas in the Gaza Strip without much hiding.

Four branches of the Islamic Circle of North America, associated with the Islamist group Jamaat-i-Islami, received 17 thousand dollars.

37 thousand were divided among 7 cells of the American Muslim Society, which federal prosecutors called “the open hand of the Muslim Brotherhood* in the United States”. In 2019, members of Congress called for an investigation into the Philadelphia branch of the organization. The Islamists drew the attention of the authorities with an event where children sang about the torture and beheading of Jews.
