A 19th century church partially burned down in New York

The building of the Middle Collegiate Church built in 1892 in the East Village of Manhattan was severely damaged by a fire.

The fire broke out in an empty five-storey building next to the church. The flame quickly spread to the temple. About 200 people were involved in the liquidation of the fire. Four of them were injured.
