Trump plans to pardon former Homeland Security Assistant Flynn

According to Axios, the current US president intends to pardon a few more people before his term expires and their identities are not disclosed

According to TASS, Axios cited sources as saying that current US President Donald Trump is going to pardon his former National Security Assistant Michael Flynn.

“Trump has already notified his entourage of this intention. It is noted that he expects to pardon several more people before his term expires. Their identities have not been disclosed”, –  the message says.

The Flynn case is being considered as part of the investigation of the interference attributed to the Russian Federation in the presidential election in 2016. Trump and his key aides have repeatedly rejected suspicions of any undue contact with Russian officials during the 2016 election campaign. Moscow has also repeatedly referred to groundless allegations of attempts to influence the US presidential election.
