According to the press service of the Israeli army, fighters and helicopters retaliated against the military positions of the radical Palestinian movement Hamas in the Gaza Strip on Sunday. This was in response to the rocket launching into Israel on Saturday night.
“Earlier, a rocket was fired from the Gaza Strip into Israel. In response, Israel Defense Forces fighter jets and helicopter gunships launched strikes against Hamas military targets in the Gaza Strip. During the attack, two missile production facilities, underground structures and the training complex of the Hamas naval forces were hit”, – the press service said.
Earlier it was reported that a rocket was fired from the Gaza Strip into Israel on Saturday evening. As a result of the rocket explosion, damage was done to a factory building in the large city of Ashkelon, no information about the victims was reported.
