Ukrainian state hospitals and laboratories purchase tests for coronavirus and other equipment from companies with Russian founders.

Thus, the founders of Vector-Best-Ukraine LLC are Ivan Bodnar, Myron Budzak and Ruslan Kundelsky, as well as the Russian JSC Vector-Best, whose beneficial owner is Murat Husainov. The place of registration of all co-owners is Russia. According to the Clarity Project, this year since April the company has received government orders for almost 30 million UAH.
From 30 April to 5 November this year, the company won 7 state purchases of ELISA tests for a total of 765,300 UAH.
The largest customer of test systems from “Vector-Best-Ukraine” is Uman Municipal Non-Commercial Enterprise “Uman City Hospital” of Uman City Council – 430 thousand UAH. The contract was signed on 21 September this year.
Another major customer of Vector-Best Ukraine is the Communal Non-Commercial Enterprise Kyiv City Clinical Hospital No. 5. The contract was concluded on 4 September for 170 thousand UAH.
“Vector-Best Ukraine” also won tenders for the supply of test systems for the detection of immunoglobulins G, M to the Kiev City Centre for Reproductive and Perinatal Medicine (30.4 thousand UAH) and Kropivnitsky Regional Laboratory Centre of Mindrava (two tenders for 59 thousand UAH).
State laboratories are purchased from “Vector-Best Ukraine” and American PCR tests. Thus, the Ternopil and Transcarpathian regional laboratory centres signed an agreement for the supply of systems for PCR testing with “Vector-Best-Ukraine” LLC worth UAH 850 thousand each.
