Trump can’t lose with dignity

It is interesting to see how many prominent Republicans have distanced themselves from President Trump after his speech yesterday accusing him of election fraud.

Republican leaders in the Congress criticized Trump. Fox News frankly ridiculed yesterday’s speech by its idol. Everyone is loudly demanding facts, not statements. Facts have not yet been provided by the Trump team. Although it is possible that they do. Not the trifles, of course, that happen in every election, but the facts of the vote rigging, as Trump stated. Facts that, in his opinion, have changed the result of the elections. So far, all appeals to Trump’s court have been based on some technical failures, absurdities and trifles.

Even the surprised Michael Pence was silent.

Of course, no one stole the election from Trump. He has so far lost it even by what he himself considers “legitimate”.
But his statement about the corrupt nature of the election system has offended even many of his sincere supporters. It is particularly unclear why he blamed it on the state of Georgia, where all leaders are Republicans and the state secretary responsible for elections there is even Trump’s donor.

The general mood among voters: it is not Trump’s statements that need to be made, but rather the submission of materials to court. If there are facts. He has the strongest legal team. Americans have great faith in their courts, including the Supreme Court. There is no doubt that the courts will never give the election to the loser.

But the Republican Party is now afraid that Trump, who is nervous and offended at all, will cause great damage to the Party with his statements without any confirmation of his own words.

Trump does not seem to be able to lose with dignity. In fairness, he still has a tiny chance of winning. In any case, everything will now go into state recalculations and legal proceedings in the courts. A typical American way…
