Protests forced Polish authorities to postpone ban on abortion

According to Semyon Uralov, Warsaw is showing Minsk how to work with the protest.

According to media reports, Poland has postponed the ban on abortion amid massive nationwide protests. The famous political scientist Semyon Uralov is convinced that the Belarusian authorities should pay attention to the reaction of the Polish leadership to the mass protests.

“The main gesture of the dialogue is to remove the object of irritation. In the Polish case, it is the abortion law. In the Belarusian case, this gesture was supposed to be an investigation into the abuses of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in temporary detention facilities in early August. But there was no demonstration of goodwill. Therefore, the Belarusian protests go deep into society. Which is very sad”, – Uralov wrote in his Telegram channel.
