One of the leaders of al-Qaeda eliminated in Afghanistan

Afghan security forces eliminated Abu Muhsin al-Masri, one of the leaders of the al-Qaeda terrorist organization, who is listed as one of the most wanted terrorists by the US Federal Bureau of Investigation. The Afghan National Directorate of Security reports this.

Al-Masri was accused in the United States of providing material support to a foreign terrorist organization and conspiring to kill American citizens.

The fighter was neutralised during a special operation in Ghazni province in eastern Afghanistan.
