The parties to the Libyan conflict agreed in Geneva to open roads in Libya

The parties “agreed to open all land roads that connect all regions and cities in Libya”, the UN said.

The parties to the Libyan conflict reached an agreement in the 5+5 format to open roads between all districts and cities in Libya. This was announced at a briefing in Geneva on Wednesday by Stephanie Williams, Acting Special Envoy of the UN Secretary General for Libya and Head of the UN Support Mission in Libya (UNSMIL).

The parties “agreed to open all land roads that connect all regions and cities in Libya”, –  she said.
