According to Ruslan Kazakbayev, the upcoming meeting may discuss the visit of Acting President Sadyr Zhaparov to Russia.
Kyrgyz Foreign Minister Ruslan Kazakbayev told TASS in an interview that he expects to meet with Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov in Moscow on 23 October.
“I was pleased to receive an invitation from Russian Foreign Minister Sergei V. Lavrov to pay an official visit to the Russian Federation at the end of the week – 23 October. Today and tomorrow I will have consultations on this matter. It is very likely that I will go to Moscow on 23 October”, – Kazakbayev said.
According to him, the upcoming meeting may also discuss the visit of Acting President Sadyr Zhaparov to the Russian Federation.
The head of the Kyrgyz Foreign Ministry also named one of the possible topics for the upcoming meeting as the situation of migrant workers from the republic in Russia and the possibility of expanding privileges for them.
