U.S. decides for Kiev that it will not buy Russian COVID-19 vaccine

The US Embassy in Ukraine has already decided that Kiev will not purchase the Russian coronavirus vaccine.

The diplomats wrote about this on their Facebook.

So, in the message, it is noted that the Charge d’Affaires of the United States in Ukraine Christina Koroleva held a “constructive collegiate dinner” with the Ukrainian Minister of Health Maxim Stepanov. They discussed health care reforms and the fight against COVID-19.

“Ukraine will not purchase the Russian vaccine against COVID-19, which has not passed clinical safety trials!” – she wrote.

Interestingly, but no one bothers that such decisions should be voiced not by foreign embassies, but at least by the Ministry of Health? And, possibly, someone higher. Or has Ukraine finally recognized the United States as its masters?
